The Cochrane Library contains high-quality, independent evidence to inform healthcare decision-making. It includes reliable evidence from Cochrane and other systematic reviews, clinical trials, and more. Cochrane reviews are the the combined results of the world’s best medical research studies, and are recognised as the gold standard in evidence-based health care.

An informative collection of web-based resources relating to drug and alcohol misuse, which also covers tobacco addiction. The Today's News page of the site is updated daily and content is collected from a range of government, education, medicine and media sources.

PubMed is a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine that includes citations from MEDLINE and other life science journals for biomedical articles back to the 1950s. PubMed includes links to full text articles and other related resources.
