APPG Inquiry on Illicit Trade - Call for evidence
The All Party Parliamentary Group on Smoking and Health is to hold an Inquiry into tackling the illicit trade in tobacco products. The Inquiry follows the adoption of the Illicit Trade Protocol, a subsidiary treaty under the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, at the fifth Conference of the Parties to the FCTC in November 2012.
The APPG would welcome written evidence from individuals and organisation involved in tackling illicit trade at local, regional and national level. Please download this document (pdf) for more information.
Harm reduction seminar
In October 2012, The All Party Parliamentary Group on Smoking and Health held a meeting on harm reduction and the draft NICE guidelines. Experts in the field gave the following presentations (PDFs):
